New awards recognize companies leading the way in creating inspiring workplaces and individuals who influence the incentive industry.

The Incentive Marketing Association (IMA) announced two new awards categories, the Inspirational Place to Work in 2021 and the Incentive Industry Influencer are being added to this year’s IMA Summit Awards.

Fintan Connolly, IMA executive vice president and awards committee chair, says: “These new awards are designed to highlight what is great in our industry and among our peers. In the Inspirational Place to Work in 2021 category we want shine a light on organizations that strive to be better, who put their people first and act as a lighthouse to show us the way, including their commitment to ESG. In the Incentive Industry Influencer category, we want to honour the individual who is an ambassador for our industry, whether they work in an organization of one or 1,000, and who brings influence, innovation & engagement.”

The IMA continues to refine its awards categories to recognize best practices that help organizations improve business performance with incentive, reward and recognition programs. IMA’s Summit Awards program now comprises approximately 20 awards with Excellence Awards that identify and recognize outstanding examples of incentive programs, products and services; and Member Recognition Awards that recognize those who advance the incentive industry and the IMA or their IMA strategic industry group/chapter through their volunteerism and leadership.

IMA members submit nominations for free. The nomination fee for nonmembers is $99. The deadline to submit nominations is April 29, 2022. Awards entries are judged by a panel of industry experts. The awards ceremony will take place Tuesday evening, July 12 during the IMA Summit at The Cliff Lodge, Snowbird, Utah.
